Mission of the Foundation

The Larry Hughes Family Foundation is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization whose mission is to assist the families of organ donors and recipients with financial and emotional needs, and join forces with existing groups in an effort to education the public about organ and tissue donation.

Purpose of the Foundation

Benefits - We provide youth without necessary resources and support systems, an opportunity to dream and reach their highest goals.

 Action – We join forces with existing organizations in an effort to maximize the level of awareness    for organ and tissue donations among all communities.  Special attention is focused on young people.

Assistance

We have granted Christmas wishes for families Thanksgiving Blessings, Ronald McDonald House assistance. We have paid burial expenses for donor families. We have paid rent and mortgage payments. Total grants paid out approximately $40,000.00 we
serve the Bi- State area and local children's hospitals
 

Funding
Community leaders & parents make up our board- They all volunteer their time and expertise with the same mission in mind. Improving lives and educating our communities.
